Prime Yoga is a safe and sane approach to yoga for people 60 and over. Yoga is an effective form of exercise that provides physical and mental benefits such as increased strength, balance, range of motion in muscles and joints along with improved sleep, mood states and stress reduction. The gentle practice aids with arthritis, improves circulation and balances blood pressure.
In this introductory class, Dee will guide participants in a practice that will leave the body and mind feeling refreshed. Whether you are looking to try yoga for the first time or would simply enjoy a joyful practice with a community of age-mates, its bound to be a meaningful afternoon. For those who wish to continue, Dee will be offering a Prime Yoga 8 week series starting the following Monday, January 14th from 3:00-4:30pm
