Yoga can be intimidating for anyone, but especially for boomers and seniors trying yoga for the first time or for those coming back after a long hiatus. Prime Yoga is a safe and sane approach to yoga, designed specifically for the needs of people over 60, and focuses on building and maintaining physical strength, flexibility, joint range of motion and stress reduction.

Gentle yoga practices have become the most popular forms of exercise for adults over 50 years as it provides mental and physical benefits including:

Dee Gold, MA, E-RYT 500 is an advanced yoga teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience. She is a certified Yoga Therapist and an award winning author/member of the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy. Dee’s teaching encourages great respect for the human body, mind and spirit at every age. Her philosophy on aging is to joyfully embrace it. It is her true passion to assist her students see their “golden years” as their prime time.
