  • Roots & River Yoga 30 West Potomac Street Brunswick, MD, 21716 United States (map)

As the holidays approach and the year comes to a close, many of us find ourselves moving quickly, pulled in many directions, and longing for deeper meaning in the season. This workshop offers a restorative pause - an opportunity to root yourself in nature’s wisdom, let go of what no longer serves you, and set clear intentions for both the holiday season and the new year ahead.

Through mindfulness, gentle yoga,  and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) practices, you’ll learn how to navigate stress, clear away limiting patterns, and reconnect with what matters most. Together, we’ll explore grounding and intentional practices that assist you move through the season with greater presence, compassion, and clarity.

By the end of the workshop, you will leave with:

  • Grounding practices you can carry into your daily life.

  • A personal intention for the holidays that reflects your values.

  • Insight into what truly matters to you and practical strategies to carry it forward.

  • Practical ACT tools to navigate holiday stress while cultivating grounding, meaning, and joy.

  • Tangible takeaways—small items and tools to remind you of your intentions and support mindfulness practices beyond the workshop.
