Take your Tai Chi practice to the next level with a deep exploration of the 13 Postures — the eight hand techniques and five stepping patterns that form the heart of Tai Chi Chuan.
This series is designed for students who have a foundational understanding of Tai Chi principles or who have completed the introductory courses at Roots & River, Grasp the Sparrows Tail and Four Corners.
We will build upon the basics by introducing more complex sequences, refining postural alignment, enhancing fluidity of movement, and cultivating greater internal awareness. Emphasis is placed on breath coordination, energy flow (qi), and developing rooted balance through slower, more meditative transitions.
Students will explore intermediate forms, applications, and deeper philosophical aspects of Tai Chi to support both physical vitality and inner calm.
