Yoga is an ancient art of self care. The Yogis believe we are born whole and connected, and that we get depressed or anxious because we forget this essential teaching when we are stressed.

In this workshop we will explore how Yoga affects the mood, quiets the mind and reduces tension in the body. Through yoga postures, breath work, sound, mudras, present moment awareness and guided exercises, we will experience how to balance moods, regulate the nervous system and be active participants in our own well being.

Explore these techniques in a safe environment and cultivate more self compassion while developing resources to create your own unique personal practice. Participants will leave with strategies for depression and anxiety and tools that can be used at home or anytime to enhance one’s ability to self regulate, restore a sense of equilibrium and rewire emotional patterns.

Julie is a Psychotherapist, Yoga Teacher, Nature Therapist and Wellness Educator. She is dedicated to helping students & clients access their innate wisdom & creative energies for growth & healing.
