Discovering a New Identity After Loss with Danielle Kean Grassi

  • Roots & River Yoga 17 West Potomac Street Brunswick, MD, 21716 United States (map)

Discovering a New Identity After Loss is a compassionate and reflective workshop designed to support individuals navigating grief, transition, and personal transformation. Grief does not only come from major loss; it can also emerge through identity shifts, changing relationships, career transitions, or outgrowing old versions of ourselves. This workshop creates a supportive space for participants to explore these experiences with greater understanding, self-compassion, and emotional safety, without feeling pressured to “move on” or have everything figured out.

Through guided reflection, nervous system grounding practices, and gentle emotional processing exercises, participants will explore how grief and change can impact emotional well-being, relationships, and sense of self. Together, we will examine the emotional complexity that can come with healing and growth. Participants will also learn how to stay present with difficult emotions in a safe and grounded way while releasing the belief that something is “wrong” with them during the healing process.

By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with a deeper understanding of their grief experience, practical tools for emotional regulation and grounding, and a stronger sense of connection to themselves as they navigate change and personal growth.
