Topics include:

-The tensions among yoga, nationalism, anti-colonialism, and Indigeneity
-The impacts and intersections of yoga, gender, caste, and culture
-The impact of patriarchy on bodily expression
-Bhakti as a subversive tool of personal agency and anti-colonial resistance
No reading is required before our first meeting on January 7th. Please note there is no meeting on January 14.
