Join us every Tuesday this summer for Outdoor Slow Flow at Harpers Ferry Brewing, a mindful practice set against one of the most beautiful views in the region.
This class will include a mix of salutations, held stretches and gentle, creative sequencing designed to help you move with awareness. Elements of pranayama (breathwork) and meditation may also be implemented throughout the practice.
What to Prepare and Expect
🧘 Bring your own yoga props (mat, blocks, etc) as they will not be provided
⏱️ Plan to arrive no less than 10 minutes before class to park, walk to the deck, and set up your space so we can start practice right at 5pm
👕 Have an extra layer as it might get chiller on the hillside or as the sun starts setting
🧴 You might like sunscreen/mosquito repellent, though we will be on a deck under the canopy of trees, likely with a breeze
🥤After class, stay and enjoy an included drink - choose from craft beers, ciders, seltzers, or non-alcoholic options
🍃 We’ll be practicing outdoors with sweeping views of the Potomac River, where Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia meet. Please expect the natural elements of sun, wind, birds and insects. Because the Brewery overlooks a route 340 bridge, there will be evening traffic sounds
🌦️ We will meet weekly rain or shine! Clear afternoons will take place on the outdoor Sunset Deck and rainy days, in the Riverview Tent.
Join us to move, breathe, and unwind in nature.
Please note: this class is best suited for those experienced with yoga or otherwise moderately active+ beginners who are comfortable transitioning between floor and standing postures. Participants must be 13 years or older.
Hosted at Harpers Ferry Brewing, this family-friendly setting offers food, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages. Each participant will receive a drink voucher to enjoy after class.
Cost: $25 (Includes drink voucher for one beverage of choice, including non-alcoholic options)
