Connection in Motion: Partner Yoga Workshop with Giuseppe and Christine Di Monte

  • Roots & River Yoga 30 West Potomac Street Brunswick, MD, 21716 United States (map)

Connection in Motion, facilitated by Giuseppe and Christine of Echoes & Journeys, is a playful and mindful partner yoga experience exploring trust, balance, communication, and shared movement.

Through accessible partner postures and guided practices, participants will explore connection through touch, breath, movement, listening, and presence. The practices invite curiosity, play, and a deeper awareness of how we communicate and respond to one another through the body. An immersive, carefully curated musical soundscape accompanies the experience, creating space to slow down and connect in a more present and embodied way.

No previous partner-yoga experience is necessary, and all types of partnerships are welcome. Come with a partner, friend, family member, or come ready to connect with someone new. The experience is designed to be adaptable and welcoming, with opportunities to explore both supported and playful movement at your own pace.

Cost: $30 per person

Christine and Giuseppe are the creative duo behind Echoes & Journeys, a collaborative practice blending yoga, movement, breath, sound, music, and mindfulness into immersive experiences that invite participants to move, connect, and explore.

Christine is an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher with extensive experience guiding students through thoughtful, accessible practices that connect movement with breath and awareness. Giuseppe is an RYT 200 yoga teacher whose practice combines yoga with his background in music, DJing, live looping, electronic production, and sound exploration.

Together, they bring complementary strengths to the mat. Christine guides the physical and energetic journey of the practice, while Giuseppe creates a dynamic live soundscape using DJing, live instrumentation, looping, percussion, and electronic textures.

Rather than simply playing music alongside a yoga class, the two collaborate in real time, allowing the movement, instruction, and music to respond to one another. Additionally, they create a unique environment where movement and mindfulness become tools for deeper connection.

Their work also draws on a shared passion and expertise in communication and human connection. They explore how we listen, respond, communicate without words, establish trust, and become more present with another person. These principles are woven naturally into their partner practices.
